Bob Bondurant 80th Birthday Festival of Speed Car Show. Sunday, October 13th from 9am to 2pm at the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving.

There will also be racing at the Firebird International Raceway now Wild Horse Motorsports Park.
Forms online. Lots of Cobra/Daytona races scheduled. Tech inspection looks pretty simple if you want to race. Just costs $$$.

I visited the Shelby Museum in Boulder CO last week and Bob’s #21 car and history is prominent. His name and photos are everywhere.
I know it’s $35 but if you register before Sept 1st at least you get a T-Shirt.
This event is 1 week before the Big Laughlin Event and should not interfere.
Barring weather I will attend. Should be interesting and fun. Arrival target is 8:00am. There may be hundreds of cars attend so our best chance of parking together is to arrive together. We can post arrangement as the event draws near.

I'll be there, without a car, but can't wait to see all the Cobras, etc...

I'm going with my 65 Shelby for sure. It's only 2 miles away. I'm expecting a large turnout, and hopefully more shows and vintage racing will come to the Phoenix area.

Sounds like a nice event. $35 for three days is a fair price. Think I'll go sat and sun. I wonder if the show car parade is on the track? I spent the day there with the Pantera guys last april. It was a great day and probably up to 100 laps.

Any racers here? I'll post another Bondurant topic in a few minutes.

Thanks for links, Bob. I sent the event information to some of my SoCal Cobra guys. Chandler is a good Cobra run from here. Several of us are committed to a Monterey/ Carmel run that weekend...........Cheers

I've seen Ralph when he has to pay for his booze. Don't want to see if he gets it free.
