What about Encanto Park in Phoenix? Lots of ramadas and lots of parking.. but lots of kids and other folks.. We would have to contact someone and make reservations.

mikiec 02-18-2014 07:50 AM

There is no way I want any of the cars unattended at Encanto.

mikiec 02-18-2014 07:52 AM

How about Heritage Park. We could picnic at the Rosson House.

"There is no way I want any of the cars unattended at Encanto."

What, you don't think some of the cars would look good in Nogales, or South Phoenix?

Maybe a few gang signs instead of roundels?

Kiwanas park in Tempe is huge with lots of parking it's just south of ASU...just some ideas for you guys...South Mountain park not the best neighbor hood but the park is awesome with lots of little bbq areas away from everyone with their own parking...

Guys,
I'd be glad to host the event at my place. I'm not sure how many cars we can fit in the driveway. If we double / triple park, we would have room. I'm right in the middle of town. Pluses and minuses to that. Use it as a back up if you want.

Fitz 02-20-2014 08:55 AM

We could have the corner beggars "V"park the cars:LOL:%/:LOL:%/

Karl Bebout 02-20-2014 08:08 PM

Oh Scottie, be careful of what you wish for...Your neighbors would be up in arms and you might be banished to the hinterlands of East Bumbscrew Mesa.

RedSnake351 02-20-2014 10:08 PM

Scotty, there is nothing to worry about at all, all you have to do is ban Karl and his noise-maker from your fine neighborhood and the problem he brings up will solved.

There's a wanted poster down the street for any info leading to the arrest and conviction of the orange colored cobra driver that broke the sound barrier and shattered windows for 2 blocks on December 7th, 2013. Authorities tried to get an imprint from the tire marks, but all they found was burnt rubber. :D

Danr55 02-21-2014 07:34 AM

Interesting Scotty. Maybe we should find the culprit and ask him to join the club? An orange Cobra would pretty well cover the color spectrum for the AZ cobras. We have a pretty lavendar striped car. Several soft blue cars. A couple of shiny metallic flashy cars and a couple of subdued, no stripe subtle attractive cars in various shades of Red and Green. We have black cars and white cars and a couple of yellow cars. We even have a Pimped up Cadillac Gold car. An orange car would just about complete the spectrum.

KOPPER! its KOPPER!

At least its not "Rangooooooooon Red, aka Chevy Orange.
