ARIZONA Community Church HUGE Show this Saturday
Justa reminder about this Saturday's car show at the ARIZONA Community Church. At last count, I saw 15 (+-) Cobras registered. I'll go over to the parking lot Friday afternoon and rope off at least 12 parking spaces (I know some people that registered won't make it)and I'll get over to the show about 6:30 Saturday morning to try to ensure our spots. (Maybe they'll hire me to blow off the parking lot?) I'll ask the admitting folks to direct Cobras to that area, but of course, nobody has to park there if they don't particularly wanna. I haven't been to this show for at least five years, go figggure, but before, they always did a real good job of organizing and were nice people. Hope to see a bunch of plastic fantastics Saturday.

Karl, I have cancelled my registration because of family matters. Nothing serious, I have been told I must baby sit my 2 grandsons on Sat starting at 7am. I will miss you guys if it doesn't rain.

I have family that lives in Tempe and they tell me that this show is very well organized and lots of fun for both participants and spectators. They told me that it is definitely one of the best car shows in the greater Phoenix area. Wish I was going to be there for the fun.

My outdoor gig at the Olive Mill got cancelled because of the rain threat but I think if it does rain I'll just go for a drive. Car's gotta get washed somehow.

Karl…is there a "rain out" date scheduled? If it looks bad I won't be there either…We'll see, I guess.

I haven't heard of any "plan B" in case of rain but I'll throw the question at them. I certainly will not attend if it rains. My MT Drag Radials don't do well on wet pavement and I have no urge to plow up any more landscape, though, it has been pretty exciting!

Yep looks like it. Hope the reschedule it to a later date.

It would be nice if it only rained during the week. Leave the weekends for play.

Bill, the organizer, said they were canceling for this year. Look for it next year.
