This show just happens to be about 3 blocks from my house. Check in is 7 to 8am. Here is flyer and registration doc. I will be there unless unexpected happens (like my wife had emergency gall bladder removal yesterday evening.) As long as she is ambulatory I will be there. $5 entry and free food. By the way, this is a Baptist church so if Karl walked in he would probably be struck by lighting.

Don't try to register on line. Click the words "Ridge Rally Carshow Registration" low on the page. Print it out and bring it. Or, just show up, they will have plenty. Small show.

I've found that early morning runs on the freeway on Saturday or Sunday morning can be quite pleasant. 85MPH in 75 degree weather isn't bad.. No traffic to speak of excpet those funny cars with the annoying blue lights.. Where do those guys keep going?

Since we are not running Yarnell this time of the year, they have come down here.

Maybe we should do a 0400hrs run up Yarnell. Up and down before it gets too hot.. Then into Prescott for breakfast and home before 1000 hrs.

Not going to make it. Son, Trent just had first child this afternoon at T-Bird Hospital. Boy, Lincoln, 7lbs 11oz.
Wife, Sandy admitted to Arrowhead Hospital. Gall bladder removal complications. No time for fun.

Bob, Congrats on being a Grand Pa again. Sandy will pull through in fine fettle.

What's a fine fettle? Is that like an old Cowboy term?

Default Car show at Mountain Ridge Church

Showed up around 0730 after a pleasant drive on the 101. 85mph at 85degrees was just right...even drank a nice, hot coffee on the way. No cops or traffic (Dan).

I was the only replica there. Probably about 20-25 cars. Including the usual half dozen Mustangs and Corvettes for no reason. A couple of street rods and a very nice '56 Lincoln Continental (Black) from Barrett Jackson purchase in January.

No pictures, not worth it. However, the breakfast of pancakes and sausages, juice, coffee and pastries was worth the $5 entry fee! Very nice people and HS kids that were polite and pleasant. Thought about you Mike when talking to all the 15 year olds, Oh My! LOL .

Nothing too exciting coming up soon. Will keep eyes open, at least until I leave on the 29th.
