Goodies on the way

I ordered a few goodies thanks to Bob B.
Rear shock tower supports. (were on back order for 2 weeks)
Coil overs all 4 corners
&
Sway bars.

My cobra should ride like a cadi when I'm done.

Got everything from Cobra Valley.

Now I just need to figure out how to or who to install.

Nice upgrades Dan. All good choices. Charlie has experience installing all of those.
I would do them myself. You can too. I installed my shock mounts myself. Coil overs are bolt off and on. Then adjust ride height. Sway bars are bolt on. Get wheel alignment when you are done with all. Randall Thomas always includes detailed instructions with photos so you can get your hands greasy.

Do all the work yourself, it's more satisfying that way and do us a favor. Stay away from the Carb area.

Bob, I plan on doing a alignment after I do the ball joint mod which is in a couple months most likely.
Hopefully I don't need one with shocks and sway bars as that's why I skipped the ball joints for, he said I needed a alignment after doing the joints because they sit higher at the joint or something like that.

I let Bob Reems mess with my carb.

mikiec 10-02-2014 07:26 AM

Good move. I hear he is very good.

Bob,
Any decent alignment shop up here? Somebody that won't scratch their head when
I bring in the stang.

Mike, Jack's Alignment is the real deal. They know how to do alignments without just keying data into a computer. 602-956-7610. 2902 East Thomas. Excellent for Cobras, too.

Do the install yourself. It's not that hard. You'll be pleased that you did it yourself. Randall is ALWAYS there to help you if needed.

Mike, I have taken the cobra to Network Alignment before with good results.

Thx Bob...may even go with R&P if I don't like the manual.
Power R&P would really be sweet...now if I only had a lift :)

Danr55 10-03-2014 07:09 AM

Has anyone else noticed that Mikie is on here more now than he was before he moved to the opposite coast?

Karl Bebout 10-03-2014 08:37 AM

Mike, give me a shout. 4803208296. Be glad to have you bring your car out.

ffr 1137 10-03-2014 11:35 AM

Thx Karl. First I'm gonna see if manual is going to work for me on the stang...shouldn't take too long.

That's where I took mine. He made a comment that it was a long time since he had to use shims.

Rear upper supports and all 4 coil overs installed.
The rear support bracket is brutal to install on the drivers side.
Also pinned the roll bar thanks to Bob B's advise.

Sway bar installs maybe later this week or when ever I feel like messing with it more.

Anyone want to buy some nasty looking AVO's?

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 10-05-2014 06:33 PM

Congrats on the install Dan. Good job!. Ride height OK? You should have a smooth ride to Laughlin!

AZ Bob
