Pavilions B-J Saturday
Anyone interested in making a mass showing at the Pavilions Car Show Saturday January 17th? It is ENORMOUS! That's both the good side and the bad. Last time I did this, I got there about 9:30AM, and there already was no place to park in the main lot. As time went by, and people got away with parking perpendicular to the cars parked in spaces, we were able to pretty much get together. There were still a few Cobras scattered around but there were at least 20 of us together. It was a good day. Overwhelming numbers of beautiful cars and beautiful Wimmen! One can always pray for warm sunny weather. From past experience, I'd recommend getting there no later than 8:00-8:30.
Anybodies??

I would but I am going to the automobiles auction Saturday. Some great stuff for the garage if the prices aren't ridiculous ( like they normally are)

Bob, I didn't know anything about the cruise, but the Saturday, on the end of the Auction was always the craziest Pav show. Lots of cars for sale that didn't go through the auction but are looking for the snowbird in town for the auction, that just has to have their car. Thinking I'll be doing it, 'way bright and early and probably burn out by 3 or 4 max. I have a party that night, and I heard that there will be table dancing...

Hey Karl, I'm game, save me a spot next to you and let me know what time you are going to get there and I'll meet you there. Would be nice to have a few 427's show up too Lots of nice cars show up this weekend so getting there early is always advisable.

Keith, Think I'll just bite the bullet and get there about 8, NEXT Saturday, the 17th. My cell is 480-320-8296 if you want to give me a call. I'll try to get as close to McDonalds as I can, but I doubt it'll be very close. Some of those folks must camp out the night before. Hellzbellz, you'd think it was an iPhone premier or something.

Ok Karl, I'll get there at 8am and look for you. Some of those folks get there before the sun comes up, gotta get a prime spot you know. LOL. 8am sounds reasonable to me even if we are out in the boondocks. Just in case my cell is 480-323-8453.

They usually start parking the day before and leave them overnight.

I'm not gonna make it tomorrow. Heard a clicking and the car was mis firing for me on the way home last night, so I ripped into it this afternoon. Found a messed up exhaust rocker and bent push rod, so I'm out of commission until I get some parts and find out the cause. The locknut on the rocker was tight. I did find the rocker shaft bushing, but not the snap ring. Also don't know if the shaft rode on needle bearings or just the bushing. They are "PRW" aluminum roller rockers, which I've never heard of. Really hoping it is just a bushing set up. Time to get out the "butt-scope" to see what I can see.

Sorry to hear that Karl, hope it doesn't take to much to get you back on the road again.
