WildHorse Main Track April 16 and 17

Dave...I will be there and maybe even have my Cobra. What class do you run I'll sign up for that class too, orange? I don't think I'll run both days. Helping Steve with his Formula Ford for both days.

Hi Mike, I will run Orange. I also contacted Lee and he is on the fence, maybe you can contact him and both of you can come out the same day and we can play. I always look forward to hanging with and watching Steve, with luck Walley will show up too. I will have my trailer, easy up and tools.

If you come up, I'm not sure what will fall off my car this time.....just kidding. We might have two other Cobras one day, I will update later. Hope to see you guys. |

I'm sure Wally will be out one or both days. If Lee isn't interested I may be on the track on Sunday. Seems it is a lot less crowded on Sunday. I'll sign up for orange. Oh, I have been fighting an oil leak. Thought is was coming from the rocker covers. Today I put it up on Karl's lift and I noticed some steam and a little oil coming out of the driver side rear of the block just above the oil pan. I reached up and found a whole. I went to my house to look at my old block and found it to be an aux oil dip stick whole. I use my oil pan so didn't think to block off the whole to avoid having oil from the pan fly out all over my driver headers and blow oil all the way along the under body to the rear axle. What a mess. I put some red silicon in it and will cover it with a patch of JB Weld when it drives. That should put me whole again and get me on the track. What a relief.

Hey Larry. Great to have you come up and join in. There is a snow bird named Lee we are hoping will attend. I will track the same day he will so we could have at least 3 Cobra's on the track at once. Would be fun to have a mini challenge. Yes, Pro Auto. Only $160 on the Firebird Main.

We are just going to watch. The Z06 is in the shop for mods but love to watch the goings on!

Great news all, at least three Cobras running together.
Mike, Lee, I might drop my trailer off Friday night, the track is just down the road. I will try and make room for all of us. Mike, let me know if Steve is going to set up Friday, we can make a fun spot. |

Guys, I'll bring my trailer there friday evening too. What time are you planning in arriving? Lee, I can bring you home if you leave your rig at the track night. I'll just off load my Cobra and leave the Cobra and trailer there. We can make a Cobra corral. Anyone have a popup?

I will coordinate the arrival Friday with you. I have a pop up. It's little, 10 x10 but should shade us.

Dave....I am available any time on Friday. Usually they open the gates about 3-4 pm and close them at 8pm. I'll find out if and when Steve is arriving and pull in at the same time. If he is there and your not well coordinate like we did at Chuckwalla. Engine seems to be running OK now. Stopped oil leak. It was coming from un plugged dip stick hole on drivers side of the block. duh

Hey it was great to see you guys today! Wish we could have stayed a little longer but needed to get back to Tucson. I got a couple pics with my phone. Sorry they aren't too great but hard to get a good pic through the fence with a phone!
