I'm fine with either two separate runs or an all in one. Very good point about the idea being SoCal's.
As I mentioned, a couple hours in Tombstone is plenty for me, but I'm sure I could find entertaining things to do in Bisbee. Been decades since I've taken the mine tour and would be up for that. |
Love to join if the dates will be towards the end of October, I think the weather would be be "much more better!" :p
Damn, this snow-birding puts a damper on some really neat trips for me! Ralphie, who knows it's only me to blame!:MECOOL: |
Ralphie, later in October would be nicer weather for Tombstone and Bisbee, but we'd most likely have freezing temperatures up on the mountain. It was very uncomfortable last year, on the Sunday morning when we left Springerville.
Just git yer butt down to Maricopa the first of October. Remember how you got caught in snow, last fall????? |
Spent the night at the copper queen hotel last year, lot of ghosts in that town, and hotel even put a chair in front of the door so it wouldn't open  , there is a great street that you can see from the main road with an old service station on the corner, make sure you drive down it, its like stepping back 50 years.

I just read Bob B's post again. I understand this is a SoCal run. Let Scotty and the SoCal guys plan the run and if anyone wants, join in the fun.
