No, actually I was accelerating fairly hard from a stop, in first gear, and as the engine was sweeping through 4000-4500rpm, it just stopped....
"Braaaaaaaa-------{silence}----"
No bucking, no shaking, no smoke, no oil all over the road... Just dead.... It imploded.
I wish I had mounted that piston on a plaque in jigsaw puzzle fashion, just like it is in that photo above- It would look good on the wall in my den.
