nniets, don't for the life of me understand why you bothered searching out the lighter circuit. Would have been much faster and easier to just run a ground and take your power off the un-switched power terminal of your ignition switch.

Get 'er together and quit screwing around.

Scotchman 01-27-2017 07:21 AM

So,
The birthday boy who started this, and the wild man from horse country that designed the route, may not be going. :JEKYLHYDE:JEKYLHYDE:JEKYLHYDE

Danr55 01-27-2017 07:26 AM

Bite your tongue. We are going. Feb 4 as scheduled.

Karl Bebout 01-27-2017 08:27 AM

Thinking back....how many times has DANR got people started planning to do something, and then bailed? Hmmmm?

Danr55 01-27-2017 09:54 AM

Of everyone in the club, I would certainly think that Karl would understand "she who must be obeyed".

My fuel pump went out.... It's going to take me at least 5 months to fix it. :p:p:p

Let's see a show of hands... how many have found that having a wife to use as a scapegoat is just one of the perks of marriage?

Scotchman 01-27-2017 03:58 PM

Using the wife as a scapegoat is kind of like admitting you're p*s*y whipped isn't it ? I'd rather blame a fuel pump. ;)
And for now on, you guys are on "a need to know only basis".

Danr55 01-27-2017 05:56 PM

Hey, call it what you like. Happy wife happy life.....Besides, none of you clowns do my laundry.

Danr55 01-29-2017 03:48 PM

OK, I got a kitchen pass. Well, sort of. Adriana is going with me
Who else is going on this little jaunt? Looks like temps near 80 degrees.

moore_rb 01-30-2017 06:55 AM

yup, still planning on it...

Scotchman 01-30-2017 07:13 AM

I'm planning on it. Should be great weather.

Danr55 01-30-2017 08:20 AM

Not buying you a new fuel pump or someone to install it!

Karl Bebout 01-30-2017 08:53 AM

Still planning on doing this run. Took a buzz up da hill to Superior, with Hector, yesterday. Could sure feel the temp drop on the Gonzales Pass, but was still a nice ride. Hector needed to run some old stale gas out of his tank, so, being the kind, benevolent guy that I am, I followed along, in case his car died. It didn't.

Danr55 01-30-2017 08:58 AM

Mention to Hector that the fuel won't get stail if he drives his car occasionally.

Karl Bebout 01-30-2017 02:47 PM

He gets tired of my harassment about not driving the car. He has 'way too many grandkids that he gets hooked into doing stuff with/for.

There are definite advantages to not having any family, locally, sez da grump.

RedSnake351 01-30-2017 11:33 PM

Thanks to Karl for reminding me to check the forums more often, I will be happy to go on the Saturday run with y'all!
