I've owned 4 Corvettes throughout the years (a 76, a 68, the modded-97 that I posted above, and this 69 T-top, that looked like this when I bought it (did somebody say orange..? :LOL:):

WHOA!.... For a second there, I thought I was posting a picture of Danr's Cobra... :p Yup, I owned a Monaco Orange 69 Vette.


But mine didn't stay orange for long....it looked like this when I sold it 4 years later:

'66 Corvair Corsa Turbo convertible...approx 321 made, last year

See how it morphed into a '78 Corvette! This one had a 1971 LT1 350/375
mechanical liftered motor. W/O Catalytic Converters, ran headers. Registered
as of the year of the engine. Ran high 12's. Blocked sanded all seamed area and painted in black lacquer . Fun car

I see you're from Truckee. We had the Az Cobras on a road trip up there late last year, and got caught in a sleet storm you wouldn't believe. Great memories though. :cool:
