New to Cave Creek Arizona with questions

I’m new to Cave Creek Arizona. Purchased a house about 1year ago. Looking to ship my FF5 Cobra later this summer.
Any recommendation for a covered shipping company from Indiana to Cave Creek Arizona?
Also interested in a “screen” top to block the wonderful Arizona sun during the summer. Any recommendation for that.
Do you have a website or Facebook page or do you only use this forum?

Any help would be appreciated.

Search for covered auto shipping. You are looking for simply the best price. Not sure what you mean by screen top. Cobras should be garage kept. My guess is he's talking about a 'bikini top' for use when driving.

The company that FFR uses to deliver kits also delivers entire cars. Sorry I can't recall the name right now...it's been 13 years... but they do a good job.

I had Intercity move my Cobra and Ford GT. Reliable got my Ford GT from Colorado to Vegas on a special "secret car" trip. I couldn't be close to the van until they were removed, but they were the secret spy camera fodder from Dodge, I suspected later that they were the high altitude test versions of Hellcat. I would use either of them any time, choosing the one that can do it the quickest.

As a first gross estimate you should figure that covered transport will run you about $1.00 per mile.

Yes I think I'm looking for a bikini top to use while driving, but I "think" I want a mash screen top and not a vinyl. If anyone has an opinion either way I would appreciate hearing pros and cons.
I will contact all carries that are suggested.

I use my vinyl top on occasion, does tend to flap but it does the job of keeping most of the sun off. I think a screen top would work better if you can find someone to make one. Just my 2 cents worth.

You have to realize the way the top attaches it will lift the frame of the windshield if you drive too fast.

On my top not at all. I have to be going considerably faster than that to get any significant pressure on the windshield. At highway speeds here in Arizona (75-85) it has worked fine, above those speeds it sometimes causes some movement of the windshield but if I tighten the support bars enough to stop the flapping it is fine even at higher speeds. My car is an ERA so I'm not sure how a Factory 5 top is secured but at 55-65 it shouldn't be a problem.

On our trip to California, my top started lifting the frame at around 60 MPH. If you check with Hinoonaz he can tell you about a gadget he has that holds the top frame down.
