Yes, Yankee Swap is on. I got mine. Karl said he would get the 2 part ticket roll to you so you can bring it to the Party.

As Louise and I keep a busy schedule, we will be gathering our pot luck item tomorrow, or on the way. Any suggestions of what is needed? I know sometimes there can be too many of a certain item.
Also, am I correct that in the gift exchange, those who bring participate, so we should each bring?

We seem to run out of meat first plus, desserts seem to go over well. Bring 2 Yankee Swap Gifts if both you and Louise wish to partake in the fun.

Thanks Jeff for bringing over the tables. We have all the soft goods ( plates, cups, napkins, paper towels) except tablecloths if someone can bring those with them. We have a freezer if someone wants to bring ice cream to go with my wife’s Homecare triple guiradelli chocolate brownies

Been working, off and on, all night... I'm extremely tired.

Today will not be "go out and drive day"; Today will be "nap like you were nniets" day...

2017 has not been a good year for Robert, recreation- wise. I am ready to put this one in the rearview mirror, and get on with 2018...
nniets likes this.

Sorry you missed the party Robert, we had a jolly good time with way to much food!

It was a good party in spite of the faux paus...and I made more than a few. There was more.than enough food. Karl was in great form and we even made a few " Mikie" jokes. Only wish he had been here to hear them.

Great Anniversary Party. Thank You to Ron & Pam Evans at Evans Classic Autos. Super facility. We had 17 Cobras show and about 50 people. We had enough food for 100. Even without asking for specifics in food and quantity, we had plenty of everything. Thanks Jeff Classic for transporting the tables both ways. Here is a photo from outside.

The Yankee Swap was fun as usual, with lots of stealing, specially at the end.
Here is a list of our award winners this year. All trophies except best of Club are rotating and we will see them again. We will let Ron & Pam rest for a short time before we ask them to host again next year.
IRON BUTT: Scott Siggins
WAGON TO REPRESENT: Bruce Bosley
MOST SPIRITED: Keith Barngrover
CHALLENGE PLAQUE: Gary & Vicki Stubbs
BEST OF CLUB: Dan Shinn & Bruce Nelson

Thanks everyone for coming, some great Cobras parked out front. Hey Tucson Al, where is the engine number stamped on the 240z so I can check it against the chassis number for the z we talked about?

Great turn out.

have 2 questions.

1. Is the challenge plaque used for some thing different?
2, Wagon to represent?

By the way, Mikie, you were re-elected President in absentia. Your check is in the mail.

2Bars, and Louise, Glad you could make it to our rag-tag bunch. Keep an eye on this site for upcoming stuff. We usually have a good turnout out for the annual RT 66 Fun Run, 05/04-06/2018. You might want to pencil that on you calendar. Its a good, two night, run up through Seligman, with over nights in Kingman. The Saturday has a typically 800+ car show of all sorts of hot rods. I'll be in Croatia so I'll miss this year's.

"Unpaid President. Darn. What about inflation"

Some people go through life, never earning what they are worth,
but,

Others do get paid their worth....
