I can't make the Nov 18 event, but I will probably plan on attending the Dec date.

I love old war planes, and 8 bucks is what I'd spend on a breakfast at Denny's, anyway

Karlos, check your eyes. Says 4:24. That's not so bad. Normal wake up plus 30 minutes.

Sounds like a low turnout over at Falcon Field this weekend. I am probably going to go over to Penske instead.

I am jealous as I would love to be anywhere but work tomorrow. We have our annual CPA audit and inventory tomorrow with 2 CPA's. Feels a bit like an endoscopy and colonoscopy and they meet in the middle

Well, it sounds like we all just need to plan on going to see the airplanes on December 16th...

We went today. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes served by a bunch of very earnest and likable young Civil Air Patrol cadets. Not far from this event (walking distance, about 300 yards) is the Commemorative Air Force museum. I would make a nice morning's event: Go get breakfast from the Cadets, then walk or drive over to the CAF Museum. What time should we meet for breakfast?

I can't get over to Falcon Field today (too many chores to do) but I am going to stop by the Penske event this am.

I got confused about the start time at Penske. Thought they started early like the other Scottsdale cars and coffee so I was there at 0 dark thirty and it was completely empty. So I blasted around the autoplex setting off car alarms and scaring a few stray pedestrians and went over to Tom Thumb to buy some 95 octane and get a cup of coffee. Ran into a guy with a neat air cooled (i.e. Real) 911 that was pretty much a full race car. Saw another guy in a Camry that told me I had a nice '59 Vette. I told him there was no such thing. Drank my coffee and went back over to Penske (now about 7:00) and still empty so I headed home. It WAS cold.
