Celebrate Scottsdale 68 Car Show

To all the Cobra people. We have been invited to join the City of Scottsdale celebration of 1968. It takes place over a three day period. Go to the web site for all the different function. The car show takes place on Saturday 10/13 from 5:00 to 8:00 on Main street downtown Scottsdale. Show up time as early as 3:00 pm. I will need names, Year of Cobra and T-shirt size. Let me know who will be interested. Gary

Karl, I'm not sure what I'm going to drive but you can bet whatever it is it'll have all four wheels solidly attached.

Celebrate 68' 50 years of Scottsdale, with an incredible evening, parking for all 50's 60's and 70's cars will be on Main Street side by side for a beautiful display. The entry is free, includes t-shirt and commerative dash plaque. This Event is limited to 150 cars. To Register you must email me your name, car make, model, year and your shirt size, or call 602-809-1766 to register with me
Beatles and Rolling Stones Tribute Band at the Valley Ho, Fireworks at 8:00pm.

There appears to be about 180 diagonal parking spaces between Goldwater and Brown for the 150 cars limit. Parking west of Goldwater is parallel only so probably not part of the show or restricted. In order to park together we should meet close by and enter as one. If Gary has a location in mind let us know. Otherwise either the Starbucks or better, the Panera just to the west has lots of parking on the south west corner of Indian School and Scottsdale Rd. Organizing would be better is we knew the best entry point to Main. I hope Gary can reserve spaces together. If you want I can go into Nancy Perry’s shop at 43rd Ave and Bell or call to ask.

I plan on being there at 2:00 pm in front of French's Jewelry store. With cones and yellow barricade tape. If that location does not work for any reason, I will find one that will take care of all. I hope!
