Default East Valley Burger night

Just checking since driving all the way to Padre Murphy's at 83rd and Bell is a pain in the butt on Tuesday nights, do we have enough interest in the East Valley to start our own Burger night on this side of the country? If you're interested in a weekly Gathering throw your name up let me know.

You might also recommend a place to meet if you have one in mind.. I am recommending the Raging Bull at 155 S. Power Rd for our first meeting. If that works we can stay there or we can suggest options.

How about we see who's interested and then try and pick some place that's kind of in the middle?

Count me in and if it's not Tuesday nights, I'll have the opportunity to go to both.

How many go there? Will a second cause the attendance at both to be below critical mass?

No. I think Karl is the only Easterner to attend the west side with any regularity.

Tony, I guarantee it will be too far for you to drive for an evenings event. LOL

I probably wouldn't be a dyed-in-the-wool regular, but I'd be there from time to time. Is this going to be a stag event or will the ladies be invited?

As always, the ladies are invited. This is and to my knowledge has always been a family affair. Wives, girlfriends, in some cases, boy friends are always welcome to join in.

Oh, cool. I've heard a lot about Karl's boyfriend, but I've never met him.

Well only five showed for the first East Valley Burger night. Carl couldn't make it Gary and Vicki didn't show but the food was good the conversation was enthusiastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So the next one will be plan for Wednesday night of next week 11/14, so my wife can make it. Same time same station hope more people decide to show up.

We had a great night. Al and Patty Weaver came up from Tucson and we spent the better part of four hours just sitting around and eating and talking it was great.

Well, two weeks in a row no one showed up. I guess we will discontinue this effort until and unless someone else is willing to support it. Just not enough crazies out on the east end.

Dan, our Tuesday night Burger Fest began back in about the year 2000 as just Car Guys and one of them had a cobra (Chuck.) It has evolved into a weekly cobra gathering over the years and relocated a couple of times. Even though I describe it as a cobra bunch (not a meeting) all car guys are still welcome. Some of us do not own a cobra such as Bruce, Darryl, Jim, Scott, Mikie.
