Default 75° coming Thursday. DRIVE TIME!

This Thursday, 02/28/19 is forecast for 75° "delightful" weather
(sez AccuWeather).
Jim Cooke and I and maybe others, are heading for Maricopa to hook up with Ralphie. Probably head for delightful Gila Bend. Maybe backtrack or maybe head north on 85 up to i10? I don't care. I JUST WANNA DRIVE. After I see if anyone is interested, I'll figgr out a blast off point and I'm thinking 10am since that should have the morning dew burned off by then. any Bodies?

Finally the early spring thaw is coming! Supposed to be 71 here in Vegas Tues/Wed/Thu Then mid-high 60s. Lows in the 40's so it looks like we're out of this funky snow-in-Vegas weather!

Keep paying those taxes so those of us "entitled" can keep getting our "entitlements".

Ok, looks like the drive will take us 20 miles south of Maricopa for a stop at the Dwarf Car Museum and “factory” and a chit-chat with it’s creator Ernie Adams. After leaving the museum we’ll be heading toward Ajo via 84, 8, then 85 for lunch at our destination.
Anyway that’s the plan as for now, until someone comes up with a different/better idea. If you can find the time to join us, you are welcome!

Karl will come up with a meeting place and the present group will meet up with me 3 miles south of Maricopa at Harrahs Casino around 11 am.

Here's the plan: We'll meet up at the Chevron station on Wild Horse Pass, just on the West side of I10, pretty much across from the casino. with a 10am blast off. You Northern-valley folks figure out what ever you want to get to Wild Horse Pass. We'll go to Maricopa, to meet up with Ralphie, 3 miles south of town, at the casino, drag him out of whatever bar he's in, and then head down to the dwarf car shop and museum for a little tour. Then we can catch 84 to the 8 and go to Gila Bend OR take 85 to Ajo for lunch. We can decide that tomorrow. See youse in the morning.

Certainly an outstanding day! Lots of sun, nice cool air. Very interesting Dwarf Car Museum, darn goog Mexican food, in Gila Bend. A little over 200 miles for me.
