...Even if my Cobra has a chevy engine..?

:cool::cool::cool:

I bought my dream car.. '64 4speed two-top convertible. The only car on this planet besides a Ferrari that I would ever even consider owning in red... **)

Yeah Karlos... A much more cushy ride than a Cobra fo sho; but you gotta keep in mind, I'm a lot older than you are. :p

Oh, and not just power steering, it also has power brakes... and an AM-FM push-button radio :LOL::LOL:

I've owned Corvettes, and I'm going to own a (replica) Cobra.

Both go together, like wine and moonshine.

Danr55 02-18-2019 09:38 AM

Hmm. Rob now has a Chevette and wants to hang with us. I guess. Hey, it's red also.

Phx Mike 02-18-2019 10:47 AM

Looks nice Robert!

Now we just need to find an FE for it.

sea2jet 02-18-2019 10:48 AM

Beautiful car. Here is my Glen Green 1965 Fuelie.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 02-18-2019 11:36 AM

Congrats Rob. That car has FUN written all over it. Be good to see you again. Join us. You're still a car guy.

AZ Bob

Cobrakeith 02-18-2019 01:43 PM

Nice car Robert looks great.

hinoonaz 02-18-2019 03:55 PM

Looks great Robert
You can come around any time. We might mistake it for Dan's previous cobra red.

Alfa02 02-18-2019 04:54 PM

Well after talking with you for what? an hour today, I guess your still a Cobra guy ;) Really is a nice C-2, Congrats Rob. Good to see you back on the site with us. Cheers Tom.

nniets 02-19-2019 03:13 PM

For my non Ford days.

moore_rb 02-20-2019 08:09 AM

Ron, Your Corvette and mine are as far apart on the spectrum as two cars with similar origins can possibly get... hahahaha

The paint on yours is 20 feet deep, while mine looks 1 foot deep, but only from 20 feet away.

Still, I'd be happy to park mine next to yours any time (well outside of door-ding range, of course )

Shhhh... Don't tell anyone, but those 327 decals on the valve covers are a subterfuge, disguising what's REALLY going on underneath those stickers ;)

Once I have the tune dialed in, this car's going to be faster than my blue Cobra was

You big-block guys will still be able to pull away at all the green lights, but I'll make it up as I cruise on by while you are standing around the pump at the next gas station.... :3DSMILE:

Have you started your search yet for SBC 'Cobra' valve covers? LOL

csx4910 02-20-2019 12:26 PM

Hey, it is all about the fun. This morning I drove my 50 year old little red Triumph GT6 worth $15k with all of 140 hp and had a blast driving that 1400 lb car.

It is all about the experience regardless of the car for me. I drove my 62 Austin Healey out yesterday to get it exercised a bit before the rain and forgot how much fun a light car with only 135 hp can be tooling down the freeway not having cupholders, being able to use your phone and just focus on the experience.

Happy Trails down the road gentleman!

sea2jet 02-20-2019 02:33 PM

I love the FE in my Cobra but it's hard to beat this look.

Scotchman 02-21-2019 05:25 AM

Nice ride Roberto ! Love it. Bring it on Route 66 May 3-5. :D
