Is there any charge for providing the items of interest?

Very Interesting. I attended this event many years ago and do not remember much. Here is the event website: https://outwickenburgway.com/special...ssic-car-show/ I will call the chamber (was a member when I lived there)tomorrow and find out more, such as arrival time, entry cost, food, t-shirts etc.

Called Chamber & they directed me to Mr Maglio who is running the event. He's out but, wife says there are still 30+ spaces remaining out of the 75 limit of classic cars. I asked her to reserve space for 6 cobras and she said she would. Arrival is between 6:30 and 7am but she says even if we come before 8am we will be OK. So, I am assuming Karl, Scotty, Fitz and me count for 4. How about some more. We can probably make room for any number. I'll ask Paul to send email and will post on FB.
Nice morning run. Can meet at McDonalds in Wickenburg like the old days. 6:30am Saturday, October 12th.

Scottie and I are going to meet at 75th Ave and McDowell, North of I10, to leave at 6am. We'll be going West on I10 to take the Vulture Mine Rd up the back way into Wickenburg. We'll get breakfast after we get there and then go to the show. Anyone wanting to join us is certainly welcome and anyone wanting to go Bob's Carefree Highway/Rt 60 route should contact him.

Just show up at the McDonalds. Going to meet Karl & Scotty for breakfast guessing right now at Lydia's LaCanasta restaurant. Vulture Mine & Rte 60. 7:15am. Will check in at car show after. From what I understand, we can leave anytime.

I checked for I-10 closures. Traffic will be exiting and reentering at 75th Ave for construction. You may want to avoid.

Your route sure sounds interesting, and we end up at the same place so how about I join you guys. Never been up Vulture Mine Rd from I-10. Where are you meeting up? Might I suggest farther west?
Once figured out I will post on FB, CC and send email.

I'm up for meeting just about anyplace. Need some West-siders advice. Thank God, I'm not familiar with that side of town, other than to buzz through on the freeway.

We used to meet at Love's Truck Stop at exit 114 (Miller Rd) in Buckeye. That's about 11 miles east of our northbound exit 103. FYI Rte 101 is exit 133 off I-10.
I also just called Discount Tire to find out where my tire is. Someone (the manager, Steve) apparently forgot to order it so looks like I'm in my JAFM this weekend.

Since I am forced to take the Mustang, I am going to go directly to McDonalds like I originally planned, and like the email says. See you guys at breakfast. Let me know where you choose. Thanks.

There is a Circle K just north (first left turn lane) of I-10 on Litchfield Rd. That's as good a place as any to meet.

We should arrive at 6:20 fueled up and ready to go, but I'm guessing Scottie is going to go in an get a donut.

Default Breakfast at Spurs, Wickenburg

Met PHX Mike at McDonalds, had coffee and he went on to Car Show. Drove over to Spurs Cafe and had breakfast with a motley crew of cobra drivers. Karl, Scotty, Cobra Jim, Mark, and Mesa Mike. Good breakfast. Those guys went on to Car Show and I went home to watch 5 year old grandson play soccer. 2 of the guys saw Fitz heading to show earlier. Great day.

Excellent drive by way of the Vulture Mine Road. That added about 20 miles each way, on the the trip for me but was well worth it. Good breakfast at Spur's and a nice little car show with some interesting airplanes on display.
I remembered to slow down for the last cattle guard before Wickenburg, on the mine road, so didn't jar any fillings out or compress any discs. All good.
