4 point is better 2 point. But, a 4 point can be more dangerous than a 3 point factory style in a frontal collision. With the anti-submarine belt, there's a likelihood you'll slide out underneath the lap belt and fracture hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

The 3 point harness allows the upper body to bend forward and rotate , preventing you from sliding under or hitting the steering wheel. That's the theory, anyway.

Lap belt is fine for me.... I’m taller than my roll bar. :eek:

I don’t track/race my Cobra.
I had my ‘67 corvette (427ci 435 hp) on track at mid-Ohio .....much safer for someone my height (6’ 5”).
