Nearly all Cobra replicas use the same windshield. It appears that BDR uses the same one FFR does.

If you can't find glass, consider Lexan.

And can be ordered from shell valley either as glass only or with gaskets

I have a Superformance windshield in my BDR windshield frame. Needed a tinted windshield for inspection and they were the only ones at the time.

FFR sells glass windshields, relatively cheap. I put a Polyglas windshield in from Cobra Valley. Last one you'll ever need. Not cheap but much harder than Lexan. Use anything to clean it and you can even run windshield wiper, if you wanna.

Depending when it was built, it could have one of 4 different windshields. The only source for the glass is Iconic Parts. They will ask you to measure it so they can determine if they have one available.

We typically replace with MR10 Lexan. Buy the sheets on eBay and make a template to transfer and have at it.

Mesa Dave and I made a windshield for my old NAF out of a sheet of Lexan from Home Depot. We learned the hard way that a hand held jig saw was misery. The plastic would melt and fuse its self back together so the edges required lots of sanding. When we made my wind wings, we used a band saw and that did a nice job. Dave even used the remainder of that sheet of Lexan to make a windshield for Ralphie Red Snake. He said it was so much easier than mine, that we learned on. No idea which Lexan we used but it was soft enough that I had to be careful to use only mild soapy water and micro fiber cloths to clean it. my 2¢.

Cashburn is correct. Unless you are going to fab your own they have adjusted the sizes as the cars evolved. The age and generation changes which one you will need.

Just a reminder. Lexan or clear acrylic won't shatter or break but are easily scratched and the more you rub it the more it scratches. My .02

I had to go with MR10 Lexan... but if you decide to go that route... rather than buying a sheet and making your own... make a template... get your measurements... and contact James Yale w/ Radical Roadsters (281-804-5730). He does it as a service to the BDR community... and he can cut and ship it for much less than you’re going to pay for a sheet of MR10... and you don’t have to go through the hassle of cutting it. To clean it... simply use a microfiber towel soaked in warm water... and dry with another microfiber towel.
