Great pictures!
Looks like a beautiful spot, great views.
Its that time of year, maybe less shows will result in more driving.

twobjshelbys 07-02-2020 03:10 PM

sweet! I like the lighting on the first pic.

t walgamuth 07-02-2020 06:17 PM

Where is that please?

Alfa02 07-02-2020 07:31 PM

I agree with the rest Scotty, beautiful set of pictures;) Glad to hear Karl's Weber rebuild went well, between talking to me (Lately) driving, and cooking, Karlos you have 3-full time job's :) Keith like the look's of your top on your 289FIA :) Soon Karl will have his. Cheers TommyRot.

I appreciate Keith for putting his top on so I could take a few pictures to show the boat upholstery shop that will be fitting my new top to my car, Might get that done next week.

Good job guys. Great little trip for you non-sleepers. I have trouble staying awake, not sleeping.
For Mr Walgamuth in Indiana, Bartlett Lake is a reservoir for Phoenix water created north and east of the city. It is fed by the Verde river and Horseshoe Lake. Our club used to have an annual picnic there until about 2013. We consistently got speeding tickets during entry and exit because the road is so fun. Lately, thanks to Karl, our non-Covid picnics are annually at Saguaro Lake

As Karl said, he needed a couple pictures for his upholstery shop to take a look at so I put the top back on for our little foray yesterday. It was perfect, nice and cool, nice road to the lake and good company.

t walgamuth 07-03-2020 10:42 AM

Does everybody except me see lightning in the picture?

greg keller 07-03-2020 04:19 PM

If we would have still been in AZ, we would have gone along. Miss all you guys.

Great pictures guys!

Sawdust 07-04-2020 06:03 AM

That first pic is stunning. I love the lighting or should I say the lack of lighting. Get that pic blown up and put it in your man cave!

MOTORHEAD 07-04-2020 06:32 AM

Mr Walgamuth; It's "lighting" , not "lightning"

t walgamuth 07-04-2020 09:43 AM

Thanks! hah hah!

I need to drag the bowtie out of the garage and join you guys on one of these morning jaunts...

My "covid car project" is finished and has gone off to its new home in Texas, so I'm going to take the rest of the summer off from wrenching, before I start working on the old 54 Chevy truck this fall...

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 07-08-2020 07:40 AM

Looks great Robert. Can't wait for the new 2 door Bronco to come out. Same idea.
