Default Brrrr Gonna be Nipply

Wednesday's high temperature is forecasted for only 96° so I'm thinking I just wanna DRIVE! Get an early start, 6am, I17 and Carefree Hwy, go up to Camp Verde, cut across Cottonwood, to Jerome, then to Prescott and chose your route home. I'll probably go the back way down to Yarnell, Wickenburg, and back to God's country. Any interest? Route subject to suggggggestions Scotty?

Oh yeay! Nipply! I'm sure you meant NIPPY but that's still a pretty good Freudian slip!!! And still accurately describes the conditions

My daughter is here in Vegas visiting from the Denver area. From a high Monday in the 90s, Tuesday is supposed to be only a high in the 40s with up to a foot of snow in Estes Park/Rocky Mountain Park, and 3-6 in the foothills.

Even Vegas is cooling off with a high temp difference of over 20* between Monday to Tuesday, but meanwhile today (Sunday) and Monday will be record highs.

Scotty, I'm just waiting for you to want to change the route/destination

I'm thinking the route I proposed would keep us away from those areas having fire problems.

Steve, it looks like about 60 miles from our lift off point to Camp Verde so I'd think we should get there by 6:45am. We'll hit the big Maverick gas station to fuel up and we can meet you there.
Today, the Wednesday weather forecast is for only 92°. Scheesh, might have to bundle up

I'll have my ear buds in so give me a call if you can't find us. (My phone will route through the buds)

Boy Howdy!
70° when I left home at 5am, tee shirt, under a long sleeved tee shirt, and shorts. Hooked up with Scotty and Keith and we took off for Camp Verde, where we met Steve and Betty. Pretty nipply by the time we got there so I hauled out a hooded sweat shirt and my lap blanket. About 8:30 we rolled into Prescott Valley and a bank there showed 53°. Betty said it had been 40° when they'd left their home in Prescott around 6. With the proper clothing, it was very comfortable but by the time we got down to Wickenburg, I was happy to shed the sweatshirt, lap blanket, and the long sleeved tee. It was a balmy 91° when I got home at 1. A most excellent day and right about 350 miles for me.
Life is GOOD!
