Sorry to have to cancel our trip to thr 66 fun run.
Maybe next year or make the clubs annual Christmas party this year may be possible.
My car is not drivable. The steering system all screwed up. It will take major surgery to get it squared away. It goes back to Schwartz Performance in Illinois to be repaired properly.
Please forgive us for this situation.
I will come back time to time and try better to keep up the with the good folks in Arizona Cobras.
For now goodby and have a wonderful time at 66 run.

Hershel, I too will not be on the 66 run. My reason is simply age, a bad knee, and other medical reasons. After 22 straight years, it's time to hang up on long trips. We'll miss you anyway. My God, they're dropping like flies. I, too, will not be on the Rt 66 Fun Run. A couple weeks ago, my engine decided to ingest coolant into the #3 cylinder and the hydraulic pressure blew the piston to little pieces and knocked a hole through the cylinder wall and water jacket. ARGH! I had barely 600 miles on the newly rebuilt engine and it was running great, until....(eek)
