Default Tucson, April 6th, warm dry and WINDY !

Hi Mike C and all the guys. We decided to attend the Old Pueblo Mustang Club Annual Show here in Tucson since we received a special invitation. There were six Cobras in attendance during the day. We did not get the reserved parking that was promised, however, our guys were able to come and go as they wanted. Paul Binney, John Martin, Bill Markley, Bill Lardner, and Ken Jones from Tucson and a Cobra from Phoenix, I apologize for forgetting his name, we meet at Hershel's in December - he had the tan primered Cobra and parked on the south end. Now the car is finished and painted a beautiful red, I went home to bring my "work-in-progress" to the show and when I returned he was gone. I would like to get with him and take some pictures of his car, the black paint on the hood hinge was interesting and contrasted nicely with the red paint. Mister mystery guest please contact me. All in all it was a nice opportunity to show off the Cobras to the Mustang guys. You had rain up there in Phoenix and we had the wind, dust, and debris down here. By 2:00PM there were only about ten cars left out of 60 that were in the show. The wind was so bad that a person could not stand and talk, everyone was being rocked back and forth in the 40 MPH wind. MikeC, we'll see if we can get a car or two up there next Saturday for the picnic. John-Tucson PS. MikeC, the fellow from Tennessee visited with Bill Lardner who took him for a ride and spent and afternoon talking about Cobras. He saw my project and seems to be very interested in building a Cobra. Thanks for the contact.
