Default ERA FIA cobra

Jim Beatty just came over in his new ERA FIA cobra. It is one of the nicest cobras I have ever seen. I got to ride in it and drive it. It is solid, predictable, and very fast. Wait until you guys see this one, its awesome and Jim's a nice guy too. Scott

Default ERA FIA's very nice cars

Scott,
Our own Crankoid Joe Rodomista, has an ERA FIA track only car that is very fast and Joe is a very experienced driver. This weekend he will be challenging the very fast BB's of Don Mc Fez Durner and newcomer to our group but plenty experienced Paul Formanak in his BB ERA. Joe's FIA is said to have in excess of 600 hp out of a very tweaked sb Ford. I will be there with my little 400 hp Track turd trying to not get run over. This should be a fun weekend at the Glen.

Cranky, Jim's ERA has a 500+ hp small block(of course) with an individual runner EFI, speed pro set up, very smooth and fast. ERA set it up for road raceing as far as springs and shocks go.He also owns a shifter cart and is going to open track his ERA. This cobra is really nice but I can tell from taLKING TO HIM THAT IT WILL BE BAALLS OUT ON THE RACE TRACK. Thats the funnest part. scott

Scott--

Thanks for the kind words--especially coming from a guy with an awesome Cobra yourself--- I can say that I am pretty jazzed about how my car turned out--I plan on going to the Pavillions on Saturday--with 143-- I hope there is a good AZ Cobras turnout--

--Shifter Kart is in the shop getting a carbon fiber enclosure built around the exahaust to muffle the CR125 noise-- Kart goes like snot-- and stops even faster-- Hard to believe...but it's more intense than driving the Cobra on the street-- As for the track -- I can't compare yet until I get 143 out there--
Although, it is hard to beat the all around awesome feeling of driving a car like the Cobra--

If you are not at the track on Saturday-- and are interested in going to the Pavillions-- Let's convoy there, or you are more than welcome to drive with me--

Let me know--

Cheers,

Jim

Jim,
I'll see you and Scott there. I am looking forward to checkin' out 143. Especially that motor. It sound like there is gonna be a good turn out of the AZ cobras.

Hey Jim

It will be good to finally see the ERA.

It looks like we should have decent turn out. I'm guessing 10 to 15 cars from the club.

If I could only figure out away to get all 60 together...

Mike

Sorry I missed the Pav and 143. I saw it at Duffy's about six months ago and would certainly love to see it finished.
