Default Randy -- how's that FIA?

Randy -- I was the one who stopped by this evening at the Pavillions. I should have stuck around more to ask some questions, but the kids were ancy for their dinner.

Anyway -- you used to have the Cleveland powered Unique 427, right? How do the two cars compare? Do they drive similarly? Please compare and contrast.

BTW -- the current car looks great. Nice car.

Ben

Ben...It was good to see you on saturday. Yes I did have a Unique 427 car. I sold it a year ago, Can't believe it 's been a year. The to cars have the same suspension so they both drive the same. I wanted a FIA car because I like being different. Out of all the cobra's in Phx they're 3 FIA cars. The car does have a little history. Everyone knows the BFG. poster with the cobra. It's my car.

Cool. I thought that was Bob Evans car. Or are they one in the same?

Anyway -- back to the cars -- different engine, right? You had 351C in the 427 right? What's in the FIA? And of course I'd imagine the FIA style shifter is a bit more friendly, yes?

Bob's car is an FIA from Unique but not the poster car.

It's a 302 block with worked GT40 heads, roller cam. T 10 trans and a Jag rear. It runs just as strong as my 427 car

Randy,
Just took delivery on four of those big BFG posters featuring your car. I see that Unique uses the same car in their marketing ads in Kit Car Mag. Your car is making a name for itself....

Ah. Very cool. Regarless of it's "fame", I just think it's a good looking car period. Enjoy.

Randy,
I have the banner on the wall in my garage, I didn't know! I also have the pics of the car I took the last time I was in Az and came by see it, Now I can really impress the visitors to my little world.

By the way, thanks for the lead last week on the shop for my daughter, I think she is going t take it back tomorrow as it is still not right, but they have been most helpful.
Best,
Chas
