Happy Birthday Mike. Sorry I couldn't make it last night to the cruise or 5 & Diner. Late Car show, rain etc.

A few sprinkles at the Sedona show, but went through some showers on the I-17. Put top on at show - good thing. Stayed dry and warm.

Happy Belated Birthday Mike,

Looks like you won't be doing much driving today (Monday) either.

Got mine in Saturday, black skies made me a bit fearful but the trip home from Chandler Saturday night was dry.

See you Saturday.

Jeff

Hi, Jeff..

Got a bunch of miles in on Friday and Sat. last. Had to get over the 19,000 mile mark.

The car is now on jack stands to do my periodic nut and bolt check, especially the fastners for the new tranny.

Mike

Mike,

I guess if I had a speedo made by someone other than Smiths I would have a clue how many miles I've driven in the past two years. 19,000 is quite an achievement.

I replaced my small Smiths gauges last summer with Autometer. The tach and speedo were an oddball size and still worked well so I left them in. Silly me.

The speedo died two days after buttoning up the dash, the tach is in the process of self destructing and gets closer to a flat line with every twist of the key. Right now its new trick is to shed the rubber o-ring and wedge it between the needle and the glass rendering it totally useless.

Want a set of Smiths gauges for a belated birthday present?

We need to pick a time and place for Saturday, I am waiting for Ben to confirm a time and for his ride and drive.

Jeff

I have guy in Texas that plans to wire some money to hold the car and he should be flying in on Saturday. I have several other people who just called last night on the Auto Trader ad. I am driving it very little being I am selling it. I do not plan to be there Saturday.

Happy B'Day Mike. Some things decline with age, some with mileage. It sounds like you're trying to do both!

My brother-in law is coming in from Indiana and we're spending the week-end at the races at PIR, but plan to make an appearance at the Pav on Saturday. We may not get there until early evening though. I'll look for you.

Lyle
