Default Spec Racer build status

In between the honey do list ect, I was able to install the 3 link in the rear. Was quite fun maneuvering the axle around with a little floor jack and blocks of wood? I just have to connect the bottom part of the rear coil overs to the brackets then torque all the nuts on the 3 link. Next I will be putting on the Stainless Steel disk brakes on the axle.

Not moving fast but moving forward with the build.

Hey Jason I can save you some money when you are ready for that supercharger. I have one that would work on that car. It is an old style but it is brand new. Let me know if you want to see it. Im glad you are getting the chance to work on the car. I am extremely envious It has been a while for mine to see a change. Starting a new buisiness will take all the time and energy right out of you. Kevin

Jason,

the SPEC Racer is an awesome car. Post up some photos! Are you going to make it street legal as well or just a track car?

Kevin,

It all depends on how much is left $$$$$$$. I could go the Supercharger route right now but I would be driving a primer colored Spec Racer for a while. Of course if the deal is toooo good to pass up………

Ernie,

Gun rack? I am trying to figure out where I can mount the 50. My version of an urban assault vehicle. Speed and fire power!

Blake,

Yes it will be street legal.

Jason,
I would guess for around 1500.00 bucks I could come up with about all of the parts, and if not I could help you get the rest very reasonably. Kevin

Kevin,

I think the paint will have to wait. Let me know when you bring it to your shop and I will stop by.

p.s. Nice cars by the way. The Backdraft is very nice.

Jason,
Its there now, I brought it in this morning. Thanks for the comments on the shop. Let everyone know that we are doing service work on the Cobra cars if you see anyone. We are also doing repairs and upgrades on Sports and Muscle cars also. Kevin

Kevin,

I am off Friday and will be able to swing by.

p.s.

I forgot to mention nice bikes as well. Are those Harley frames or custom?

I know myself to well that I would end up killing myself on one of those. I have this bad habit of pushing things to find their limitations.
