Is there really an Arizona Cobra Club?

I've checked all over the web... maybe my surf skills are not too good...

Anyhow, I'm considering getting rid of my '73 454 road and drag race Vette and taking over my dad's injected 427 Chevy Cobra (He's too into airplanes now to treat it right).

I'd be looking for a club. I've run the Vette with ASRA and NASA (street groups) and would be looking for runs where Cobras are welcome and other Cobras are present. Haven't driven AMP, but have ridden with my buddy from NASA. Fun track, but short for a BB car. Not much into shows, but I love to go fast.

Mr. E: The Arizona Cobras are a loose gathering of cobra lovers. No meetings, no fees, no officers, no bylaws, just gathering for fun. Mike Canning (mikiec) is our learless feader. He's the one that send out e-mails and announcements here about cobra gatherings. Some breakfast runs, some shows, some drives just to drive. Give him your e-mail address and you can receive the announcements also.
We have normally 4 out of town 3 day weekend trips a year. Our Laughlin trip is this weekend. We are represented at the big DV Spring Fling in Ohio in June and Run and Gun this month in Illinois.
We have about 65 cobras in AZ. The most we can get together at one time seems to be about 20 to 25. Read the messages on the Arizona Cobra site and you'll see many events. Yes even racing events (Brian).
We have all the benefits of an official club but no dues.

Great bunch of guys E. I join them 'officially' (as opposed to being a wannabe/hanger-on/ride-moocher) tommorrow morning when I place the call to Mass.
