HPDE in Feb.
I just received an email from Jim regarding a cobra only event hosted by Larry Pond's group. PASA.
ProAutoSports will be hosting a club event at the East track of Firebird Raceway the weekend of February 27, 28. 29. Larry has offered to conduct a class to teach driving techniques. This educational program will include classroom and on-track exercises. It will make you a more skillful driver on the street and on the track and is open to street legal vehicles. All students will be under the direct control of driving instructors and classroom instructors. Competition, timing of vehicles or racing are not allowed for this seminar. Education, safety, confidence, courtesy and enjoyment are the goals of this program. There will be 3 classroom sessions and 3-4 on-track sessions in this entry level program. The normal cost to sign up for the 1 day driving school is $175. Additionally, the student is required to become a member of ProAutoSports at a cost of $40/year. As a special offer to Cobra owners, the cost for the day will be $100. That will also include 1 year's membership in ProAutoSports. SATURDAY - FEBRUARY 28TH - FIREBIRD EAST ENTRIES WILL BE LIMITED!!! I NEED TO GET A HEAD COUNT TO INSURE SPOTS, SO PLEASE, SPREAD THE WORD. I'll be there.. Mike |

thanks jim |
Brian,
What happend now? Yes, It should be fun. Have Jim monitor this thread and the one I started over on ffcobra under events. That should give him and you a good idea of what to expect. Mike |

School Day
Anyone interested in the school day with ProAutoSports will need to complete an entry form. I have one that I can email to you.
One question that came up was regarding multiple drivers. Each car will have an instructor riding with a driver. Each classroom session will be followed by a track session and it is a building block principle so only one driver per car. Passengers are not allowed in the student group. For those of you that have an interested spouse, contact me and we will work something out. |
Jim is that You?
OK, it has been a long time comming but, looks like our race coordinator has joined the posting ranks. Thanks for comming aboard Jim:LOL:
Well the car is a bad subject right now, seems that I have one of those "Never seen this before" issues that is taking way to much time and money to fix. I hope to have it fixed before the event at Firebird next weekend, but doubtful:CRY:  So the next event might be the X-Mass party! Looking forward to that event it looks like fun**) **) I hope that we get a good crowd for the school in Feb looks good so far. Keep it above 100................... Brian |
I had to send a message as no one has officially signed up yet. So spread the word that I have an entry form.
And what's the deal with that pirate flag? |
I think I am going to run that weekend and so is Nelson. It will be fun to see lots of cobra's at the track. Scott
|
Ready.......................................

Brian,
HSR West is running at PIR at the end of January. At least three of the Shelby Challenge cars will be there. They are also celebrating 40 years of Indy Cars. |
Slither, who is HSR west? Can we run with them that weekend? Scott
