At the Party without a ride -

I started the BDR tonight – what a rush – well until it over heated. I did run it long enough to set the cam and wake the neighbors. I built the engine from a core with new sleeves and so I still need to set the timing, carburetor and lots of other little things. I don’t think I have any leaks – all in all a great day.

Now the bad part I don’t see any way I will be on the street before the party next week – with that pesky work thing - it just won’t happen – plus still waiting for a couple of important parts – like a drive shaft –

I want to say my mea culpa’s now for being at the party without a cobra – but I promise to bring a toy or two -- and i am pretty sure the BDR will be ready for the party next year but no promises
