Hersh tells me he is fixing up the Midstates so you can drive it to the fling next June. Damn, I thought it was bad last time with Scott and Craig driving that thing. Heck, we even had Aussie Mike at the fling that year.

Aussie Mike is flat out at this time trying to get his car ready for the Australian Nationals. He constantly "Posts' photos in his gallery as to his progress.

The work on his Cobra is outstanding.

I'm going to see if he will build me a set of side pipes as he has just completed a really good set that allow changes to baffles etc.

I found some old photos of Aussie Mike on the old DVSF site with him in one of the Cobras there. Looks like he had a good time.

'weendoggy' from Columbus Ohio's event sent me a DVD of the DVSF and I'm really looking forward to getting there next year.

OK you have had Scott and Craig there.

Well now the real drinkers and players are coming over, after these guys have checked out the ground!!

Hersh has promised to have the Midstates re built for the next DVSF. Hope the event goes ahead next year.

I cannot make the "Run N Gun' this year due to work, I'm doing some major extensions there. So DVSF is next.

Then the 'Run N Gun' with my car is a possible option later.

Will see what come out of our enquiries re insurance, containers, shipping etc etc..

Aussie Mike is often over on our site at "Australian Cobra" so you will catch him there..

Oh hell!!

I was in a restaurant tonight and this guy is talking next to me and he says

"...who the hell does he think he is, bloody Mr. Pink or something."

I tell me son who is with me. I know of a Mr. Pink on the forum.

My son tells me that Mr. Pink is this tough guy in a Quentin Tarrintino movie called 'Reservoir Dogs'.

Hell and I have been giving our Mr. Pink here a hard time and some lip..

Only joking Mr. Pink sir..

Must get that movie out and to see what I'm up against...

One thing for sure about "Reservoiur Dogs" is that it really drives home the point that all actors don't have to be good looking to get work. Steve B. (the other Mr. Pink) is one 'way-less-than-hansom geek.

Just picked up the Collectors Edition of Reservoir Dogs at the local KMart (Wal Mart).

When are we coming over there??

There are two trips on the go at this time.

One, we will do next year to the DVSF. Arrive in LA and head across to LV for a Shelby American belated tour and then down to Phoenix Arizona to pick up the Midstates car of Hershals. From there to DVSF at Columbus Ohio if its on there??

The container idea. I'm trying to organise my time off to get to the Run N Gun next year with my Cobra. But I think it will be hard to get the time off back to back ( two months apart ).

It may be easy to just come over with a west coast tour and some mid states touring in mind. It appears ( from the number of emails ) that a few old friends want to catch up there and tour around a bit with us.

Will see what happens with costs and the interest once they are known and the dates we come up with. Hope to get at least four Cobras.

Youy can see the interest on the 'Australian Cobra Forum' - Containers to...'Thread'.

Once again Mr. Pink you have my respect after watching the Reservoir Dogs.

I watch what ever is on TV as I don't get to have the remote control. I'm dragged along to movies and asked to pick up the tab.

I'm actually a Nicole Kidman fan and a fan of Halle Berry - now they are good actors ..

Its 0435 in the morning here and I have worked out if I'm silly enough to be up at this time working, you guys are all around the "Forum" after dinner here looking...

Just been doing a re fit of some equipment. Will wake up the young guys here who have faded and gone to sleep on the bench and under the desk...

No staying power like us old guys.

Hell, they will probaly go out to a 'night club' or 'bar' now..

..May go also..

So all is a go for AZ next year.

Thanks, will be good to catch up with the guys I met last year at the Run N Gun and at the factory tours in Cal.

Fly into LAX. Car down to LV Nevada to check out Shelby American as we could not get there last October due to fires.

Then onto Phoenix Az. Later to Columbus Ohio (if that's the 2005 location) for the DVSF 5 - 2005...

I offer New Mexico's hospitality to you and your traveling companions on your way east from Arizona. Can have a good party with plenty of Corona and Dos Equis. Maybe I can even join the caravan east. You down under guys will love NM and TX. Just like home I think. What do you think?

Not sure on dates when we get in and travel across/down to AZ.

But will :Post: on here with some details.

I'm waiting for details on the DVSF to be confirmed. Have booked tickets as I'm using a ton of frequent flyer points and upgrades.

It will not matter if I'm in a week early as I will spend some time with friends at Malibu and HB in Cal. They are in the restaurant business with Anne and I.

At this stage I will be with my son Todd. He owns the Cooper S Mini on the gallery. Hersh - BTSNAKE- has met Todd so it will be good for both of us to catch up.

Hersh is at the F1 GP with me next March, so I will have a better idea then as to what is going on. Departure to Ohio, route etc etc..
