Arizona tickets booked
Hi all
Have booked the air tickets to Arizona and arrive Phoenix on the 16th of June. A few days in Phoenix before making the big drive to London Ohio. When we get back, I think we then head up to the SAAC at Fontana California. At this stage I fly out of LAX on the 8th of July. So..:3DSMILE:...I will be around Phoenix for a few days before and after the events. Hope to catch up and have a beer or three. Cheers Bernie |

If you are going to be in the States. The Texas Cobra Club is having our spring meeting in Austin Tx. on March 17,18 &19. It could be on your way to Ohio from Phoenix. We have 75 Cobras registered. Lot of us would like to meet you, buy you an adult beverage or two. We will cruise the Hill Country on Saturday, 75 Cobras on a twisty road , lots of fun, and a beautiful site to see. We will find you a seat with someone. See the information on the Texas Cobra Club Site. |

Mile Hi Cobra Club here. John from Tucson has written and we are working on a plan to meet him in Colorado Springs on his way to DVSF V and drive the Cobra's up Pikes Peak. Do not know what route you had planned on taking from Phoenix to London, but you could swing up I-25 to Colorado Springs and then on up to I-70. Not much out of your way and the drive up Pikes Peak would be worth the time. Let me know if this might work and we can get some cars to meet you and Hersch. Dick Thompson Mile Hi Cobra Club |

Hi Dick Look forward to run with you all there. I'll be in Hershal's GT40 and I'm not sure on the route yet. I did ask if we could drop down to Evansville, Indiana from St. Louis. So I think we will head through Amarillo and Oklahoma City to St. Louis?. I stayed with 'wtcobra' - Wayne - there at the 'Run N Gun' and would like to catch up. Hershal has it worked out - I think..:eek: Would be good to have a group of us running together..**) I will talk with Hershal and see what he "Posts" as far as our route. I look forward to swaping a few stories and brews . I spoke with Hersh last night and he sounded pretty beat! Told me it takes about 26 hours to get home from seeing the down under boys. He is like that pink rabbit though = plug him in to recharge and hes good for another round or two. |

We tag team over here. We rest, whilst someone else takes a turn to wear him out...:LOL: Yes he had a pretty busy time when here. Phillip Island Classics and the F1 GP kept him busy. **) It was good to catch up, Hersh and I took a trip down the Great Ocean Road to Port Fairy and back to Geelong just south of Melbourne. We had the Roarin Forties agent from the UK with us also. Had a good trip. It was good as I had not done that for a long time..**)...and weather was good. Cheers Bernie |

Sorry for the delay in responding but I'm just now getting back to a normal schedule. That is one long trip down under and back. It's well worth the visit as those Ozzies know how to treat a guest. Bernie was above and beyond the call of duty. He drove us over the Great Ocean Road which has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. He also put us up in a suite that over looked Port Phillip Bay. You couldn't get better accomandations if you were Donald Trump. I'm thoroughly impressed with Bernie and all he did for me while there. This is Bernies visit here and if he wants to see the Pikes Peak then we shall arrange it that way. I shall leave it to him. As far as Evansville to see Wayne that can be done too in the same route. If there is any other Arizona Cobra members headed to London please let us know. We can caravan. Bernie will be here early so I thought it would be nice to get some of us together on Saturday the 18th of June. Any suggestions? The Pavillions might be an option if nothing else. Hersh:) |

Sorry only one 40oz of Bundaberg Rum left. Will replace it. %/ Big night in the garage over here saw it open and demolished in short time. Damn, I'm getting a taste for this Australian Rum also...:eek: Will need to see if I can bring in some extra bottles for the Arizona gang. Cheers Bernie |
