Cool Ron Davis alum. radiator shop tour

I spent some time with Ron Davis and was given the cooks tour of manufacturing and testing at Ron Davis Racing Products @ www.rondavisradiators.com . They manufacture stock replacement and custom aluminum radiators. I have used their products for some time to solve overheating issues here is sunny Arizona but never saw the back shop stuff until now.
They treated me like a king showing me some of the tricks of the trade they use to cool our Toys to a managable temperature. The have a dual pass rad. with a low profile fan and shroud that is good for about an extra 15 degrees over their single pass rad. with the same fan set-up.
My personal pet pieve is an overheating engine and since we are only about 2 1/2 miles from hell in the summer time with 115 + days for weeks at a time see this a lot. I like huge cubic inch motors and cooling them is a big problem.
I know this sounds like a commercial and I do sell their product line but you can buy them from many sources like Jeg's and the other big boys. Ron Davis is a racer too (not a Cobra ...but) he sells a great product check them out. He showed me all the testing on fans they did and that could be a 2 pager alone. I was amased that many brands of fans fall on their face when tested with the restriction of flow.....the rad. stops the ability for the CFM flow they advertise ????
