Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Pink
I want to thank Jim and Susan for another great weekend. Their hospitality in hosting 20 to 30 wackos was great. The Lasaggie was good, the company great the cool weather was much needed.
The parade was a let down for us and the crowd.
The down pour in Pinetop was refreshing except for those with drag radials on their car.
I'll have some Pics posted later today.

Thanks again Jim and Susan for your gracious hospitality. And Thank you to Hershal, Lyle and Tom for rescuing me from stupidity. My Coil connection from the MSD box was incomplete. It took us a couple of hours and a borrowed coil from Tom Thorsens SPF to figure out the problem After that the rest was downhill.

Once again Susan and Jim were outstanding hosts and greatly appreciated by the Bebout clan. The Heber parade was discouraging but I think we all can understand that the local sherrif could not openly condone what the Corvette club would view as reckless endangerment. Oh well, between the stuck throttle in front of Mr. Pink's and the roadside landscape maintenance along rt 277, I did have enough excitement for the weekend.

Bob,
What happened? Is that why you were at the Circle K? I figured you were getting gas.

You were right, I was getting gas but then no start. We waited about 30 minutes there and Hershel came. We found only weak spark (only Hershel's fingers lighted up and not his nose). But car started. we made about 1 block and coil gave out on side of road. Hershel diagnosed no spark from coil and we had to wait till 10am for Heber parts store to open although Hershel even offered to drive to payson or ShowLow to get coil if that was the problem. Master auto-repairman Lyle showed up and we waited for a while, then Tom Thorsen showed up and had the same (almost) coil as mine. He offered to let us try his and my moter started right up so not MSD box. Then Lyle noticed a loose connection in my Ford Duraspark horshoe contact at coil and simply attached the wires direct -- problem solved. We went home. Today I bought and installed a new direct wire Blaster 2 coil so no connection problem again.
