A Proper Introduction

I just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I have been wanting to get involved and meet some other cobra enthusists for awhile. I absolutley love my cobra and try to improve it and enjoy it as much as possible.

THanks for letting me introduce myself to the group.

hi, Karen. Welcome to the group. There are a few of us ladies that post here- look forward to pictures and conversation! Lots of cobra guys in Phoenix. I'm not, I'm near Dallas, but thought I'd welcome you anyway!

Karen,

welcome to the world of cobras. It is nice that not only men but women love these cars. If you are ever in the Cincinnati area, you are more than welcome to stop by the shop. Sure would like to get more women interested in our cars.

Thanks Bill,
Fortunely, I am a little more then interested more like an addition.. Can't get enough. Ever since I was little and it all started with the stangs. ... I am excited that everyone is welcoming me in. I can't wait to start actually meeting people and going on runs. Normally, I do those alone.. it would be nice to be in a group with the same interests.

Hope all is well in Cincinnati

Welcome Karen!
You have picked a good time to get involved as our Christmas get together will be early in December in PHX. Mike will fill you in and it will be a great place to see a lot of our cars at one time.

Hey Karen, Welcome to Arizona.
You will have to get use to the Phoenix wimps, they only drive their Cobras 10 1/2 months out of the year due to the "heat". Of course you will find a couple of great guys that drive all year long. There are lots of things to do in Arizona and most of them can be found on www.cruisinarizona.com or www.desertcruisers.com. Mikiec is our "President-for Life", we pay no dues, we have no meetings, we drive (fast) when and where we want to go. Coming up on the 22nd, 23rd,24th is the "Run to the Pines" in Pinetop. On Oct. 13,14,15 is the "Club Sandwich" in Laughlin, NV., and on December 9th is the Arizona Cobra Club (gang) Anniversary / Christmas Party in Phoenix. Mikiec can and will answer all of your questions, underneath he ( i think) is a good guy. John PS. This coming Saturday, the 16th, is a breakfast run to Kearney.

Mikie is under the weather this weekend. Running the toilet controls. I'm sure he will respond to everyone once he lifts his head again.

Karen, everyone is welcome to every function. I, like you, usually drive alone. There are usually several of us in the same boat. It's still fun. Run to the Pines is sold out this year but, the Laughlin Adventure is pure fun. Reserve your room at the Riverside Hotel and tell them you're with "Club Sandwich". or go to the Replicar club website:
http://www.replicarclub.com/Future/Club_sandwich.htm
and do it on-line

Mikiec has flu-like symptoms? Didn't Bob B. just mention last week that he had the flu? Hmmmm.
Welcome Karen.
The run to Kearny this Saturday is a nice drive and a good chance to let the cars stretch their legs. If you go, use caution in chosing who you sit near at breakfast. Some folks eating habits are a little iffy.
I'll be the one there with the copper colored, ratbastardized, Chevy powered car, that's just a little quicker than some.

mikiec 09-11-2006 05:17 PM

Nope.. No flu. Just plain stupidity. I let myself get dehydrated.

Welcom Karen.

"President-for -life???" I knew there was something wrong with this gig.

Karen email me and I'll add you to our list.

Tell us more about you and the car.

Hopefully we will meet this weekend.

Mike

P.S. Watch out for Karl... He put his motor in backwards. No telling what he is capable of doing.

Fred Z 09-11-2006 05:56 PM

welcome to the controlled caos

Heck Karen.........don't have to be from anywhere to join this fraternity/sorority!! Nice to see a lady step out and be one of the guys,(so to speak). We all have the 'disease'.........cars are fun, but so are the great people you meet. They can really be helpful on just about any issue, as well! so, anything needed...........just jump on a thread and ask...........they get back real fast!
again..........welcome.........nice to have you with us...........
