Karen stops the Arizona Cobras.

Eleven Cobras and a GT-40 stopped their run throught the mountains of central Arizona so that Karen could use the restroom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our leader was clipping off the miles at over 120, four Cobras broke away and it looked like a NASCAR run to the finish line. The cacti were flying by as quickly as the old picked fence back east and the canyon echoed with a continious roar of side pipes. All this came to a skreeching stop in Globe when a certain individual from Texas had to use the ladies room. John PS. Welcome to the Arizona Cobras Karen.

There is never a reason to exceed the speed limit. Someone is going to get hurt!
John, thanks for the $2!

Remember, it isn't speed that kills, it's the sudden stop!

What Mr. Pink isn't saying is that he was the second car of the four and he couldn't catch the leader ( which we now know was Scott). The best long stretch was about three miles of gentle curves and straight aways. John

JOhn,
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for taking such good consideration of me on my first run with the group, it can be a little nerve racking being new to a group.. yet you made me feel right at home. It is good to know there are so many chivalous gentleman still around. :D Not to mention my two dollars!.. seriously how cool is that. WAIT.. your not going to be on a bike chasing me yelling " I want my two dollars" down a hill are you?

And just for the record... wasn't I following you John? Maybe I needed to have the restroom break due to the some misterious odor coming from the car in front of me? How long has it been since you serviced that thing you call the bullet? hummmmmmmm....

Karen....

Hey Karen, Thamks for the info about an odor, I know that the Cobra burns too much oil and am working on that right now. I am trying to find some new heads to go along with the new carb and intake, hopefully the oil problem will be in the valve guides or there'bouts. Perhaps I'll have the heads, intake, carb, and all new exhaust system on by the trip to Laughlin. I've only put 12,000+ miles on it since I bought it in late April and am still sorting out the poor workmanship and continious bugs. As a side note, I don't name any of my cars/toys so perhaps the "Bullet" belongs to someone else. And, the only time my Cobra goes over 1,000 miles without an oil/filter change is on my trips back east where I'll go about 2,200 miles before servicing it. I do hope that you will be able to attend some of our Tucson Cobra events. John

Karen... Please don't spoil him. :) :) He will think the PHX gang has gone soft.

John, Have you had a leak down test done on the engine? That would really show you where the oil is going.

Mike
