Default 302 oil capacity?

Could someone tell me how much oil a 302 takes? How about the p/n number for an MK1 oil filter? I would like to get the filter before I drain the oil, just incase it's a hard to find part.

Is there any advantage to running synthetic? Gordon tells me that it will be fine since the engine has 12k miles on it, but he didn't seem to think that there was any advantage.

Oh, if you're reading this Gordon, my top came in, but I have to drink all weekend, so I probably won't get there until next weekend. Plus it's supposed to be freakin' 97 tomorrow, might as well be June!

Has anyone ordered the floor mats from FFR? I was thinking about getting these.

Steve

I guess I'd better see if that supercharger has it's own oil supply. I'm thinking it does, since I didn't see a lot of hoses going all over the place.

I'm thinking the oil in that has to be replaced periodically. Does anybody have any advice on that? It's a Powerdyne supercharger.

The filter is Motocraft FL1A, I believe that has one of my road race oil pand so it will take about 8 qts. The S/C does get it's oil from the engine oil supply.
You can jack it up be the lower control arm in the front or by the frame on the side where the side pipe mount is.

I Got A Set Of Mats From FFR...they're Just Ok For The Price..i Think That I'll Have A Set Custom Made Here..even Though It'll Be $200 As Opposed To $99 (i Think) I'd Much Rather Have Them Thicker And Bound And Stitched Properly All The Way Around..plus, The Nubbies ( That Are On The Back Dise That Hold The Mat To The Floor Are Extra Long And They Won't Move...for $99 Though At Ffr You Can't Go Wrong..they Are On The ""thin"" Side However...
