Strawberry run
I met a few of you at the gas station on Shea. It was a pleasure. I was the one asking a lot of questions and was there on my motorcycle.
Can't wait to get mine, get it done and ride with you all. Fitz, one of the guys said you have a Levy engine, if so I would like to talk as I have not selected an engine builder yet. Just doing my due diligence. Glad you had a good ride. I got caught in the storm, mostly strong wind, then dust, then rain, then more dust. Good for a 2 hour bike wash. Again nice meeting some of you. Dennis |

I have a 408 Stoker; See my gallery for pictures of it. It is Levy's stage 5 engine. Stage 5 Street Engine 408 stoked 351 C.I. engine. 500hp, 500lbft of torque. This engine is a real rock and roller and will run on 91 octane pump fuel. This is also a fully machined and hand assembled engine. Features include, steel crank, forged I beam rods, Forged pistons, Victor Jr. cylinder heads, Custom hydraulic roller cam, and Victor Jr. intake. 6000 rpm shift point with a 6500 rpm rev limit. Runs great! My set up is a little different; Has a few extras added to the thing. Intake is a Super/senior v Junior and the carb is different along with Gordon's Cam. I usually never add anything after I build something....not! Sorry I messed the show today. Had to be in Sedona with Chicago people. Saw a blue one up there with wide white stripes. |
The ride was great. It was getting a little toasty by the time I got home. 99° in the shade of my front porch. Fitz, you could have used your air conditioner, but just how effective is it without windows? Just missed the few sprinkles and then the the wondrous dust storm. We all maintained safe and sane speeds for the most part. Only saw triple digits once or twice and since my sweetie didn't go, there were no grip marks on the dash from the higher speeds. Looking forward to the next little spin.
