Sorry about the heat, Fitz. :(
Just remember to be as nice to me when I'm up to my *ss all winter in sn*w (I don't even want to spell it ;)). http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...ies/3dgele.gif

Guess you do not want to hear about all of the nice weather between 70 and 80°F we have here in New England for the month of August.

John-Tucson 09-01-2007 05:07 PM

Hey Fitz, Todays score in the 4th quarter is: GT=33, ND=3. Perhaps that is why ND is not in the top 10. Be PROUD of surviving the new record for the number of days over 110 degrees. What is it now, 30 days ? Hey, you can tell the grandkids " I remember when..." I'll have my Cobra back from the kids on Oct. 8th and am really looking forward to joining you guys in Laughlin. Laughlin will be cooler but, remember the wind, when it's only blowing at 20 mph we think that it is calm. John

Cobrabill 09-01-2007 05:27 PM

Hot in Phoenix? Phoenician wussies!I just got back from Yuma. Now that is warm.
Nice weather & New England are mutually exclusive terms.

Fitz 09-01-2007 05:42 PM

Times 3.5 and you got my attention

Snow covered roads are good for practicing spinning and driffing.....

Dwight 09-01-2007 06:16 PM

Hot

We've had a cold wave to blow in. It's only 95 degrees this weekend. That's better than the 100 plus it's been for a month. I don't like snow but I think I could get use to it this summer.
You guys in Arizona have dry heat. In north Alabama we have high humidity to go with all this hot air.:MECOOL:
I'm thinking about installing an air conditioner in my Cobra.
Dwight

davids 09-01-2007 10:30 PM

DWIGHT, I have an A/C and I like to wear my ear muffs and wool scarf in the coupe when it's on in the summer.. Dave

John-Tucson 09-01-2007 10:37 PM

Dwight, The humidity is why I live in southern Arizona. There are two guys here in Tucson that have A/C in their Cobras. Many do have heaters so that we can drive 12 months of the year. It does get down into the 20's and 30's , once in December and once in January. John

mikiec 09-02-2007 12:07 AM

Yup, Another one for the record books. 111 today. What is that now 32 days over 110?

Mike

Dwight 09-02-2007 08:05 AM

Who

John Tucson, are you the guy in the middle facing the camera? Coach Mike on the left and the other guy is from Louisville, Ky. I think. Can not remember his name.

Dwight from Alabama

Yes, that's me alright. You have a great memory, that picture was taken at the 2005 LCS. If you get out this way let me know and we'll do a Cobra drive. The winter is our busy time driving almost every weekend. John

Dwight 09-02-2007 09:44 AM

John that is my yellow Cobra just the the left in the picture. My son and I followed you for 70 miles thru the back roads north of Columbus last June. I got a lot of video of that trip. Thanks for the beer you bought us at the QSL.
See ya next June?
Dwight

Chuck R 09-02-2007 09:46 AM

Phoenix might be hot but Prescott is great. You can't get me off this mountain top until winter.:) :)

John-Tucson 09-02-2007 09:48 AM

Dwight, I am thinking about a side trip to Key West on my way to the LCS, want to come along? Perhaps we could get a few other Cobras to join just to say that they did it? Thank your son for spotting the correct roads to take while we were touring the back roads of Ohio. John

Fitz 09-02-2007 10:50 AM

Snow? What snow?
http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/data/500/snow3.jpg

ROUSHAC 09-02-2007 02:37 PM

That's not sn*w, Fitz. That's not even flurries, just a light dusting. ;)

It's not snow until you NEED something like what we use when it SN*WS

I looked at the forecast for you and it's still supposed to be over 90 degrees for at least the next two weeks.

Seriously, I hope it does cool down for you guys. Life isn't too much fun when it gets as hot as it has been by you and stays that way indefinitely.
