Ralph, You don't use a bong... you roll them. They are tough to keep lit, almost like smoked salmon..

John, have you ever seen them in Chebby orange? Maybe Jeff could do a first.. !!

vettestr 08-05-2008 09:31 PM

Dan, When you look at yours don't YOU see chebbie orange NOW ? jeffc

Danr55 08-06-2008 12:04 PM

Nah, not me. I see Rangoon Red... it just looks like Chebby Orange because of the overcast sky.. light diffusion and all that..

mikiec 08-06-2008 02:57 PM

HEY Jeff, I just had an idea... Maybe I could use green wind wings and pretend to be a carrot?

vettestr 08-06-2008 03:43 PM

Dan I just saw your post =
"HEY Jeff, I just had an idea... Maybe I could use green wind wings and pretend to be a carrot?" hmmmm! I am thinking you should cut back on those little blue pills until this desire to be a carrot goes away. or... WTF Why Not give us some and we can all be carrots.

mikiec 08-06-2008 04:05 PM

Is Linda the Bunny??????

Mike

CHANMADD 08-06-2008 04:21 PM

I did have some for awhile, but took them off for visibility reasons.

John-Tucson 08-06-2008 10:46 PM

Okay, who is responsible for passing out the pills up there ? Dave S ???????????? Mikiec ????????????

Fitz 08-07-2008 02:17 AM

Well, I sat in the car and glanced out left and decided it may be a hazard to have the wings tinted so I am going to pass. Thanks for all the suggestions and help. I did find a glass company around the corner that would match up in smoked color in plexiglass. $130 for the set.

thanks Jeff for offering. If I reconsider I will give you a shout.

Just getting bored not driving it so I thought I would spend some money on the car. I mean it has been almost 2 months since I spent a little here and there. I think I blew out the right baffle again. I hate to drill a hole thru the side pipe to cure the problem. If there was an easy way to just rip out the the muffler I would?

Mike Brasfield 08-07-2008 10:20 AM

Fitz....I look through my wind wings at my side mirror. I think you're right. It may be a hazard to have the wind wings smoke color.

vanoochka 08-28-2008 06:55 PM

Dark tint glass visors and light tint glass wings.

I have always liked my GREEN matching visors myself! But clear windwings for sure!

ItBites 08-29-2008 10:16 AM

Brian,

Is that a new tonneau cover I see? Looks very nice!

BTW, when is the next track day you're doing? It is going to cool down sometime and I need to try out my new brake setup. I still haven't got new tires, just need the nudge of an impending track day to motivate me. I think I'll try the new R-888s. My racer friend has tried them and says they are better than the Hoosiers...

BPWilliams 08-29-2008 11:28 AM

Eric, why yes it is! and it is very nice, no more junk in the car when we stop for extended periods of time, and it looks good too! The car cover is going to be a thing of the past with this new tonnue cover!

I have the NASA schedule at work (where I am not today) so I will post the dates when I return on Tuesday....

You know in order to push me to get the AI Camaro done I have not been running the Cobra on the track...... just instructing......
