Fitz, what are you paying now for insurance and what are your limits of liability? Dave
|
Not final yet but was quoted $470 with all the same limits. Agreed value of 80,000. We will see. I haven't gotten the policy but was with them on my first car. Never had any claims against dogs. The few windshield cracks I had repaired at car wash cost me $25 so I just paid cash.

I just dropped American Hobbyist because I guess they want me to pay for everyone else's claims...haha! I've had up to 7 cars with them for the last 5 years and they wouldn't budge after I complained about the increases. I've never filed a claim either.
I've gone to Grundy Worldwide, who was quite a bit less money, and no deductibles.
Cheers!

DaveS, wasn't me with the $80K evaluation. It was that other good looking guy, Fitz, and then Danr said he set his at $100K. My car was never anywhere that nice or expensive. I'm thinking Fitz's stereo set up is probably $20K. Blew most of the hair right off his head. I don't have that excuse, just wore mine off on various bed headboards.

I'll call them Dave, I'm paying $11 per $1000 for 3 cars, and it looks like you're only at $6+ but don't forget, I'm in New York. Let's see...

Insurance in Maryland
Davids,
I also use Condon and Skelly through Metropolitan for my Backdraft 473. Agreed value is $46,000 with 300K/$300K and $500 deductible. 2500 miles per year and car must be garaged. Maryland is not the greatest place to insure a car and even though we live 35 miles from Baltimore, they include us in that area, so we get to pay for the stolen cars and damages they incur from that area. $470 for your $72K sounds pretty good.
