John in Tucson, thanks for putting together the tour, it was good to meet the Tucson guys and the skydivers were cool. Dan, thanks for organizing the Phoenix gang.

I think I counted 29 Cobras and a Daytona, wow, good time for sure!

Sandy, thanks again for your photography. I wish I was with you guys. Next event in Heber and I will be there. Thanks go to all who made the effort to attend. Maybe we will schedule better for next year.
I missed some fine camaraderie. Well, maybe not Dan, Dave and Karl, but the rest of you.

Thanks Dan & John

Thanks for a fun trip! I loved seeing Eloy and the aerial stuff. Thanks.

What? Nothing until July? Do I have to start having conversations with my wife?

China, thanks for the photos. I assume that you found a gas station. Sorry that you missed the Dairy Queen. I owe you an ice cream.

China 05-11-2009 12:08 AM

Oh, you sure do!!!!! I was fine, I never revved above 5500 rpm. :) You didn't see us at DQ, because we didn't know where you guys went. :p

btw, thank you for the good time!!! It was a pleasure meeting you guys. (but I still didn't get to meet everyone + I'm really bad with names and faces, so I'll probably forget who's who)

Danr55 05-11-2009 06:02 AM

China, interesting pics of your drive shaft. What's up with that? Did you get it fixed?

China 05-11-2009 11:43 AM

yes I did get it fixed. The drive shaft in the picture is the old one (The one that is an inch too long)

besides swapping out the driveshaft, I also added a 1/4' shim under the tranny which really helped! (helped made the tranny point up for more correct pinion angle.) The tranny is much smoother at high rpm now. I'm thinking about adding another 1/8' spacer for even more positive degree angle.

Danr55 05-11-2009 12:32 PM

Well, We'll expect to see you at Heber over 4th of July.. That's the next big club event.

China 05-11-2009 12:46 PM

I might not be able to make it. I think I'll be in California by then.

Maricopa 05-11-2009 04:59 PM

Who owns the blue street car?

China 05-11-2009 08:39 PM

Which blue street car are you talking about?

Maricopa 05-12-2009 08:52 AM

There's more than one? ;)

Actually I can't find the picture now. Maybe I imagined it.

China 05-12-2009 12:11 PM

With all the pictures that we took, we missed that one?

Karl Bebout 05-12-2009 03:22 PM

Maricopa Mike, there was a BRG "street" car there, but I don't know who it belonged to.
