What was the distance from the target? Even if it was only 5 yds I wouldn't want to be standing there. In fact, I woouldn't be standing there. I'd be movin on.

Default Gunsite Training Courses

Gunsite Training Center has more courses for the ladies:

Ladies Pistol

These two-day classes provide women with the skills to protect themselves and their loved ones. You will acquire all the essential self-defense skills with a handgun in a safe and supportive environment. You will learn gun safety, marksmanship, gun-handling and combat mindset. You will receive special attention, and the opportunity to practice your skills in a variety of situations.

At the end of your “Ladies-Only Pistol” class, you’ll be calm and self-assured – able to recognize and avoid or deal with a real-life threat.

Most women record this experience as “life changing” with newfound confidence and an identifiable loss of fear of the unknown and firearms.

Having enjoyed the “Ladies-Only Pistol” class, you can take your skills on to our “250” course, confident that you have all the basics for more involved course offerings.

Most graduates return annually for recurrent training in these classes.

Cost: $571

Duration: 2 days

Prerequisite: None

Ammunition: 300 rounds of training ammo (Gloves, flashlight and kneepads not required)

Ladies Pistol 2

This three day class takes training to the next level.

Cost: $933

Duration: 3 days

Prerequisite: LP1

Ammunition: 300 rounds of training ammo

Bill, ouch.

Dan, My status is good. At least until she gets her own.

Dave, The next class is called Basic Handgun 2. Ginny tells me they will go through 200 rounds of ammo with quite a bit of instruction.

She will not be taking the 45. She wants to try another caliber as part of her weapon choice process.
