I didn't get your e-mail. brasfieldmichael@yahoo.com I am going to pick up a new wiring harness today. American Autowire "highway 15" It will save me alot of problems except for tearing the dash out (again) to wire all the instruments and switches. I should have taken Mikies advice and started over last week instead of struggling with the old mess.

Tear out and start over, that's what I did. Are you using the Francis harness from FFR?

No went with AAW "highway 15" set up. Looks pretty straight forward. Now have to complete the tear out of the old and start with the new.

Mike,

I think you will be happier in the long run. The install will look much nicer when you are done.

Thanks for all your support and recommendations. I now have about 75% of the old wiring removed and my dash is lying on my work bench (living room couch). I had forgotten how much wiring goes along with the EFI. From stand point of wiring, I wish I had gone with carb from the beginning. This job is much more envolved that I planned. It's not just a simple engine swap. It's building a new car backwards. But, your right Mikie. It will be alot cleaner when I'm through. Karl keeps trying to get me to remove the heater to make it look "cleaner". I just gave my lovely wife the option of a glove box or the heater. She said, "what do you think I'm crazy? That's no choice, of course I want the heater". She opted for side pockets instead.

Heaters are for sissies. Put a bigger engine in and you'll have plenty of heat. I always keep plenty warn, clear up to my knees. Lorane could keep an extra pair of gloves and socks in the golve compartment.
