good ideas. when i get around to it i'll post some pix of whatever i come up with. i'd like to utilize the holes where the bumper "bars" bold into the frame somehow. going to have to remove some fiberglass. getting them just right will be a challenge i'm sure. fronts will be even harder.

This is what I am planning. Using some box tube you can drill two holes to bolt it to the frame in the original mounting holes. Then align where you want the mounts to come through and drill through both sides of the box tubing and this would allow to tighten nuts against to set depth and be easily removable if ever needed.
