Default Requirements in Australia - Unbelieveable!!

I just had to say this.....

I have read many of the threads discussing requirements in Australia, and I shake my head and think.....UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! Talk about jumping through hoops!!

I don't see how any of you guys "down under" get any homebuilt, kit car or modified car approved.

I think it's safe to say your country's requirements are MUCH more strict than anything here in the US.

You have my sympathy!!

Rodger

Hey Rodger,

I have been looking into bringing my Australian Cobra to one of the 'most lenient states for compliance' ( as I now live in the US).... I gotta tell you, it's no walk in the park.

We all suffer the bureaucrats.

I'm 4 months in and still waiting for the definitive nod.

Your steering wheel placement probably has them terminally confused.

Emissions is the "New Black"... the latest fashion. The whole world is crying about how the earth is dying of pollution. So emissions will be a favorite subject. Good luck with the process. Queenslands standards should be as good as Californias ???

Global warming: The following chart is one evaluation of the temperature at one place on Earth (Antarctica) over the last 450,000 years. As you see, the temperature is never steady. It is always getting either cooler or warmer. We are currently in a warming period. Personally, I'm glad we're not in a cooling period.
