Default Another car trailer nicked

From the DRB factory

Large 7 m long tandem car trailer, photos attached, was stolen from the factory security car park on Monday night 16 Nov 2009 between 8.00 pm and 6.00 am Tuesday. Not only did the thieves cut the chains on the gates and tow hitch lock, they re-wired the 7 pin trailer plug.

The trailer (695QOG) painted dark grey with white wheels, has a 5 m x 2 m full steel chequer plate tilting deck, four wheel electric brakes with breakaway battery controlled safety system and spare trailer wheel on front left.

A wheel rack is mounted on the draw bar with an aluminium aero front panel. These items are bolted to the draw bar and may have been removed as they make the trailer very identifiable.

Please keep an eye out, however the Police think that it has probably been sold in NSW by now.

Cool

I guess -- the best policy, is outa sight and outa mind
They're a brazen lot, as Aussies are of convict heritage -- they don't get it, until you thieve from the theives.

Now, with all the old mobile phones around these days --couldn't one be conceled in the trailer(or equipment) and when it is plugged in (electrically activated ) the phone becomes live, and rings you --the signal could then be traced . Should be possible --lets hear it from the geeks

Default Tracker

I've got a tracker fitted to my wife
she can't go anywhere without me knowing

Sad to hear about the trailer hopefully somebody spots it somewhere.

Awesome trailer, a coat of pant, a grinder and some number stamps and it's re born in less than a few hrs.

Little chance I know but good luck in getting it back.

The main issue with this type of device is, as quoted from its own website,

these tags can be recorded from up to 150 feet
