Thanks Peter, my front pulley IS closer to the cross beam than yours, can you get the g'box out on its own, I left a bit of room at the rear to make it easier for separate box removal. Peter

See if you guy's put a modern 32V overhead cam (Ford) motor in you would have plenty of room to change those plugs :)

I can change all the plugs on mine without special tools or skinned knuckles (or trained reptiles). Mind you mine isn't a Harrison so maybe the engine bay is a little tighter.

You guys just have to be careful with your tube placement when you build your headers. Give yourself plenty of room around the plugs. This will make life easier come time to service them and also mean you don't end up with burnt plug leads and boots.

BTW Congrats on the fire up Peter!

Cheers

Tight fits.

This talk makes me a little more pleased with my RMC. I can remove the rear plugs with only a little extra effort...put a square drive in the end of the plug socket and use an open end spanner...the ratchet don't fit. One thing though....the engine must be cold.

That's how I have to do mine on my Harrison.

Merv, you cracked me up with that comment.
I have to remove the headers on mine to get to the passengeger side back plug -murphys law- that was the one that was found to broken during my build.

Consider cutting a hole in the foot box to get access. I am doing this right now. Considering, that is...I can still get at them but all has to be cold.
